Friday, January 29, 2010 Before getting off in Hong Kong we had to have our temperatures taken before the Captain’s Reception yesterday. ... Today we arrived in Hong Kong and assembled to get off the ship at 2:45 PM, but there was trouble connecting the landing ramp to Deck 7, so there was some delay. ... So my day started at 2am Hong Kong time when I woke up on the fight and couldn't go a back to sleep! But all in all the flight went well. ... Again, another lazy morning recovering from New Year’s Eve and we eventually surface at 12pm. We potter in the room until about 1pm and then make our way to the Peninsula Hotel for afternoon tea but the queue is massive so we decide to go to Hong Kong Park in Central instead on a recommendation. ... Hong Kong is reflexology obsessed and if you felt pain walking in socks on the pebbles then the recommendation was that you sought a doctor. ... Up at a normal late time and we make our way to Wan Chai which is the next district over from Causeway Bay. We make our way over to Kowloon and back to the Avenue of Stars area as we have chosen that area of Hong Kong to watch the New Years Eve fireworks. ...
