Well, they always say discretion is the better part of valor, and they must be right. This morning Marilyn's discretion over-ruled my valor and we decided to flee the path of EARL! Took a look at our trusty map trying to put ourselves as far out of the projected path and still be close to see the rest of the things on our list, and came up with Grand Falls, New Brunswick. ... We woke up to a positively lovely morning; the sun was actually shining brightly, a sight we haven’t seen in a while. So, we got on the road about 10 o’clock bound for Grand Falls, New Brunswick, about 120 miles away. ... 15th July, 2008 Our plan from Petite Lameque was to head to a town called Riviere-du-Loup (translation – Wolf River) just across the border into Quebec. The nearest town with a dealership was Grand Falls which was about 70kms away, so with no other choice, we crawled along the highway with the hazards flashing, sitting on about 3000rpm and keeping a keen eye on the temp gauge. ...
