Feb 28, 2010 - Sailing On Hamilton Island
Sunday 28th February Day 50! G’day Cobber’s Laid anchor off Hamilton Island about 8 a. We are sure you would like to know this; we decided when we had our first meal, that we would resist the temptation of their speciality rolls, so after 50 lunches and 50 dinners on board we have reduced our intake of bread rolls by 100 each! So we can now say on this 50th day we have saved on calories rolls + butter (lunch and dinner, 150 calories so 15,000 calorie each) Well that’s the Whitsunday Islands & Sunday gone so back on board we sail overnight to our next port; Yorkeys Knob near Cairns. ... As we sail out we pass the Queen Mary 2 which has also been visiting the Whitsunday Islands, I did take a photo even though it was 4 miles away.Sunday 28th February Day 50!
