| Hello, I have been in Beijing for almost a week now and I quite like it here. It has been cold and it has snowed once and it also snowed the day before we arrived. We have been walking around a park. There are stone paths that go up and down hills and are brilliant for running around on. You have to wear lots of layers when you go outside because it is so cold. The wind is terrible! I wear two shirts, two polar fleeces and my raincoat. I also wear my hat and gloves. You have to be careful of ice. We found some fruit kebabs that were covered in something like toffee. They tasted really good. We also found a man who has a pan full of crystallised sugar.I got a rooster and Ben got a rabbit but they smashed.[We only found out what they were made out of after they smashed.] We also saw two horse drawn carts and one had watermelons in it. When we went shopping we found a giant kiwi fruit. I really miss school. Suzanna. |
